The EU Commission adopted the EU Action Plan: “Towards Zero Pollution for Air, Water and Soil”, a key deliverable of the Green Deal, and the main topic for this year’s EU Green Week. The plan aims to reduce pollution and details a set of actions to reach this goal. According to the document “bioenergy remains a challenge when using outdated equipment”, yet new bioenergy installations can lead to a -92% of PMs, showing how the sector is already contributing to a healthy planet.
